Sean Strub
Producer
Sean Strub is a writer and activist with a background in political organizing, public health, HIV/AIDS, LGBTQ+ and human rights advocacy. He is the mayor of Milford Borough, Pennsylvania, and in 2017 initiated an accountability and reconciliation effort with the three federally-recognized Lenni Lenape tribes indigenous to the upper Delaware River Valley.
A resulting exhibit at the Pike County Historical Society’s Columns Museum, as well as a “bury the hatchet” proclamation ceremony with the Delaware Nation, a land giveback and other outcomes, are documented in Bury the Hatchet: The Tom Quick Story.
Strub himself is the subject of a documentary, My Friend the Mayor: Small Town Democracy in the Age of Trump. He has authored a memoir, Body Counts: A Memoir of Politics, Sex, AIDS and Activism (Scribner 2014); and co-authored two books on corporate social responsibility Rating America’s Corporate Conscience (Addison Wesley 1986) and Cracking the Corporate Closet (HarperCollins 1994). He has also produced documentaries, including Nature’s Keepers (2004), HIV is Not a Crime (2011) and Burying the Hatchet: The Tom Quick Story (2024).
He co-founded and served as Executive Director of the Sero Project (2012-2022), a U.S.-based network of people living with HIV combating stigma, discrimination and criminalization and was the founder and executive editor of POZ Magazine (1994-2004).
He served on the boards of the Milford Enhancement Committee (1999 to 2024) and the Greater Pike Community Foundation (2012-2023). Over more than 25 years, he helped lead an effort to launch local film, music, literary, art and opera festivals and from 2000 to 2021, owned the Hotel Fauchere/Relais & Chateaux, a restored historic boutique hotel and culinary destination. He served on former PA Governor Ed Rendell’s Travel and Tourism Partnership (2003-2011) and on former PA Governor Tom Wolf’s Commission on LGBTQ Affairs (2015-2023).
A native Iowan, he attended Georgetown and Columbia Universities and lives in Milford, Pennsylvania, with his husband, Javier Morales.
Christopher King

Christopher King is an award-winning short-form documentary filmmaker and the founder of Endless Echo, a company specializing in documentary and social media video production. With over 20 years of experience living in Milford, Pennsylvania, King has produced numerous short documentaries in collaboration with local conservation institutions, highlighting the environmental and cultural heritage of the region. Expanding his creative horizons, “Burying the Hatchet” is his first long-form documentary project. Currently, Christopher splits his time between the U.S., Colombia, and France, bringing a global perspective to his storytelling and filmmaking endeavors.
Daniel Strongwalker Thomas

Daniel StrongWalker Thomas is of the Leni Lenape people known as the Delaware Nation (Anadarko OK) and a descendant of the Oneida people (Green Bay, WI.) Daniel is President of the Board of Directors and serves as Chief Servant Leader of the Global Initiative for Indigenous Advancement.
Daniel has a background in economic and business development and is an entrepreneur who has been at the helm or in a c-suite role with over ten different entities ranging from professional services, retail, publishing and property management.
Daniel attended Salem State University where he was awarded the Charlotte Forten Distinguished Scholar award, was a member of the honors society and appointed to the Trustees of Salem State College. Daniel’s passions are his family, his people and creating opportunities for Indigenous People worldwide.
Nick Patrick

Nick Patrick, a native of the Delaware Valley, has a deep connection to the region’s landscapes and culture, which are often reflected in his work. For over 13 years, he has collaborated with Christopher on various creative projects, blending their unique talents to bring stories to life. Nick is a rare mix of an old soul and a curious adventurer, and his filmmaking style captures the beauty of nature while telling stories that resonate deeply with audiences. He uses visual storytelling to evoke passion and explore universal human experiences, drawing viewers in with themes that are both primal and relatable. When not in the studio, Nick is out traveling, fueling his own love for adventure and storytelling.
Paulio Shakespeare

Paulio began his career in 2003, trained in Sound Engineering and Film & Television in New Zealand. Starting as a reporter and cameraman, he quickly transitioned into producing and cinematography, working on TV shows, documentaries, and commercials in New York. For over 12 years, he has collaborated with Christopher on creative projects, specializing in directing photography for commercials, films, and TV shows. His work has aired on major networks like BBC, Fox, and CNN, and he creates striking visuals for leading brands and Fortune 500 companies. Paulio is equally skilled in fast-paced shoots and crafted, cinematic scenes.
David Sandwisch
Re-recording Mixer
David Sandwisch is a re-recording mixer and sound editor based in the San Francisco Bay Area with over 25 years of experience. His passion for sound began in 6th grade and led to a career in audio post-production for film and media. A graduate of San Francisco State University, David has worked on documentaries, commercials, features, podcasts, and corporate productions for major Silicon Valley companies. His work has been featured at film festivals worldwide and on national TV. David has been part of Christopher’s team since 2019.

Manon Letellier
Tom Quick Graphic Novel Drawings
Manon Letellier is a French artist in her twenties, known for her innovative fusion of pop culture and science fiction in both her drawings and sculptures. Her work imagines a hybrid bestiary, blending archetypes that fuel her curiosity into a unique personal mythology. This mythology is reflected in her dissident futurist paintings, featuring strange landscapes, explosive scenes, and themes of revolt or evolutionary speculation. Letellier crafted the comic book sequence of Tom Quick's legendary origin by incorporating tribe-assisted research into Indigenous traditions and clothing, while also drawing inspiration from photography and drone imagery of the Milford region.
